    that phrase has always translated into 'take unnecessary shit' unfortunately in today's scenario, it should mean 'if the customer isn't being a total jackass within the boundaries of the expectations placed on us in our job function we should do our best to indulge and accommodate them' which means show a little patience.

    seems so many people seem during this time period to be used to taking shit the entire time period previously so they just get off on treating good customers like shit when they should have been happy that the customers were decent to them instead of making them want to be like the others.
