In general, how much do you think a front end developer gotta know to get hired as an intern?

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript and GIT.

Html and css decent knowledge and also some css framework like bootstrap. And also javascript. And can slice psd to html.

@popcorn making forms lots of forms and know how to debug html css and javascript.

At least where I work, HTML, CSS and JavaScript + GIT are the absolute basics.you would need deeper knowledge of JavaScript and probably the specific framework we are using.

So my tip would be to learn a JavaScript Framework you like (something along the lines of AngularJS or React) and apply when you are feeling comfortable with that, to a company that needs your particular skillset.

Good to know cause I'm also thinking of applying in a few weeks for front end dev jobs in my city.. And I dunno why but everytime I read sass as a German native speaker it reminds me on the disease SARS... :O

Make sure you know your box-model, 12 column model and flexbox like the back of you hand. Also some dabbling in the popular JavaScript Frameworks pool can't hurt, angular, vue, react, ...

Being at least familiar with bootstrapping your applications with bower, gulp/grunt and automating certain tasks is a huge bonus.

i learnt basic html css in last sem break and now i need to practice it so that i can get internship in the next sem break. But my college curriculum has java nd other subjects and I dont get time to practice html css and start learning JS. What should I do?
