The software industry proves Dr Kalam wrong: it's quite possible to be competent, efficient and still have no family or social life whatsoever. That's what makes GNU and similar projects possible. :-P

People at my work needs to understand this.

They work upto 10 PM some days. It's so ridiculous.

And worst of all, i don't believe in the product we are developing. It's turning into a clusterfuck of ux nightmare and horrible code because of poor planning and flow in the product development.

Thanks to the hypocrite boss.

I used to stay late cause I felt pride in "getting things done"
But I rarely got any relief the next day, there is always more work to do.

"Work is never-ending process " is such a great quote.
It's not like studying for a test.
You don't get less work remaining tomorrow just cause you did more work today.

... What if it's your own office?
This is great advice for employee, but horrible for entrepreneurs.

You know the problem comes when you are developing something for your Boss.
It makes you take more time to build his idea and sometimes you dont get time to build yours.

I don know for you ppo, but mostly i stayed up late at tha office coz i am very efficient from 1600hrs towards the night, the problem is "we, most coders arent paid for extra hours we stay at work, rather than flat monthly salary".... and the fact is for a project to be live workin extra is sometimes necesary to fight fatigue of doing the same functionality in a Project
