I've started logging my sleep patterns on a spreadsheet. Hoping to get some interesting statistics eventually.

There used to be an app that tracked your sleep patterns
Determined when you were awake/asleep based on your movements

    #sleep patterns #fucked up
Have you tried going to bed rather than waving spreadsheets around at midnight?

don't forget to add am and pm if you're not using 24-hour format ^^

@itsdaniel0 yep still getting regular updates. Just added sonar tracking too using speaker and mic, looks like it works too, pretty sick

    Five to eight hours?
    Those are rookie numbers!
You gotta get 'em way down.

I've been using SleepRate for a while now. It tracks quite a bit of useful data, including recording ambient noise, snoring, etc. You need a basic heart rate monitor to pair with it; some of the most useful information includes the times you are in various phases of sleep (based on heart rate and movement info).

Is that the same app you are referring to, or another one?

Interesting! I'll give it a try. I'm not sure how accurate the "contact-less sensors" would be vs. an HRM, but it looks like it has some other interesting features to try...

There's a bundled app on iPhone which does that for you. And it's pretty good. You don't have to remember to turn it on and off.

The only feature I hate in it is it instructs me when to sleep so that I can get up on time.

@SHA-256 ooh thanks for pointing this out to me. It was an erroneous input on that row!
