@moshmage I definitely wouldn't think twice. I'm a homebody anyway, so being able to sit comfy at home and code would be a dream come true.
-
I live that dream!
I mean I don't work from home everyday but I have that choice! I have a great manager who trusts the team!
I know this is unheard of in the real world but FYI the dream can come true -
I used to work from home 4 days a week and would go in for team meetings on Fridays....but with org shifts and new management, I am still able to work remote Mondays and Fridays, only having to go in tues thru thurs...not too bad
Opportunities will usually present themselves, I hope you eventually get the schedule you want ☺ -
RTRMS36908ySoon, have the displeasure of handing in my resignation today. Always kak to leave a job you love, but would be stupid to not take an offer where your told "As long as you have Internet, I don't care where you work", get a 28% pay bump and the actual office is <5km from your house, oh and 50% more leave.

Our office is 100 m from my apartment but i still mostly work at home. Could not do it any other way. Being around people all the time is so exhausting!

mundo0349118yHad the same goal, set a date and it was 2015.
I got one that had home office but could not do it like 2/3 of the week.
Now I am fully remote. The only bad thing is that you feel alienated sometimes :)
Career Goals:
Be able to work from home.
