My brother-in-law's mother's face when she was telling me that she was forced to use 2FA Microsoft Office for work..
"They think we're all IT ppl or what"

Just realise how complex the "simple" 2FA activation step is for someone without the slightest IT curiosity. Not super-democratic either.. (eg. For someone who uses a library PC and has no phone)

This is why I try to get my kids into modding. Then they are exposed to the workings of the operating system and cause and affect of changes. These are skills you can use later. It also gives them into an insight about how much work is involved for software.

So did they get her a phone just for 2FA?

Why are they in a job where they use Microsoft Office again?

If you can't figure out how to use a phone for MFA I also won't trust you to create office documents

@Demolishun no in this case she had a (own) phone, but was totally lost to enable the 2FA. They miss basic intuitions like knowing that a cog icon will probably take you to the settings. I suppose they only use MS Office for mail & Word docs (tests & reports). She is a hairdressing teacher for children with social difficulties.
