    Looks like the vaccines were very effective!

    @nitnip The vaccines never promised immunity. They only promised making it a severe case would become very unlikely.

    @Fast-Nop exactly.

    I have very slight discomfort. But still it's 31 and there is lobster on the menu which I cannot have as I can't leave the room :(

    @NoToJavaScript Well then just bribe some staff to get you some lobster. ^^

    @nitnip looking at Swedish numbers.

    Unvaccinated accounts for less than 15 % of the population but in the ICU they account for 60 %, I would say that is a win for the vaccines :)

    Yes you can still get covid, but when the immune system is prepared by vaccines it can fight it of much easier without letting it down into the lungs or other areas where it becomes really dangerous.

    @NoToJavaScript order some Dominican woman to bring you a lobster 😉

    Well , you love the prison then.

    @Voxera germany: 95% in the icu haven't even one shot of the ~30% unvaccinated. The many forged vaccines documents make me think that many of the breakthrough infections are just forged documents.

    Update : Got my lobster and beer (Which room service doesn't provide for covid isolation)

    Bribe : 5 USD

    @NoToJavaScript hopefully you don’t have loss of taste as a symptom! (You probably have omicron and that’s less common for it. Taste and smell went to 0 with delta)
