Why Windows 11 is trying to be mac os (at least look wise)? The more I use it, the more I am getting irritate. All the ui from windows 10 is still there, so why add extra sugar candy just to look different than windows 10. Many things require more clicks and more typing now.

Whatever change they make, it's always gonna pile up with unnecessary procedures and sugarcoat. Why people buy hardware with W11, again?

@vintprox exactly. I am seeing lot of student now a day trying to find new laptops with W11.

People wouldn't feel like they need to change os to the bigger number if they didn't notice any difference.

Because making constant changes sells. All the pretentious gits can then mock you with all the new app bars they had to download to make the new system usable, while you still have that old shit one that everyone knows how to use

@Hazarth im still in the hope that one day linux/mac/windows all have the same apps and games so you dont have to use a crappy os you dont want

@reij Ah, that would be the dream. I agree

This happens with every new version of Windows. Buttons get bigger, so settings they don't think we noobs need disappear from ui.

Maybe they’ve finally realized that flat design is ugly as hell? Better late than never?
