man... tons of people are on the bootstrap train here.. I'd only use that if I wanted to double the size of my codebase and get 0 value out of it.

Hi again 😂. Our codebase is currently in PureCSS. We're switching over because when all is said and done and converted over, our codebase will actually end up being smaller. There's so much community support and open projects and modules etc that it's going to be way less work and code to download someone else's date picker rather than build our own. And then there's the whole deal about not having to do much for mobile or really much media stuff at all, building views from scratch in no time at all because of how opinionated bootstrap is; but still being able to customize if we need to...

It makes a lot of sense for a large app with a small number of maintainers/builders.

I use bootstrap cos I have to build websites but I'm a developer, not a designer. My sites would look like ass were it not for bootstrap.

@nmunro exactly. Bootstrap is my web designer that I don't have to be/pay for

It works for a Dev like the comments say, I'm functional not artistic.

Bootstrap = Quick and Dirty... Or clean for that matter.

I use it on things that need a nice look without a ton of hassle, but I agree that it's overused.
