I dread demoing prototypes or POCs... Somehow there's always this one guy that doesn't grasp the meaning of a prototype...
Worst, I have seen POCs bee used in production directly with nothing added or removed... Because they can't account for the cost of the POC so "what do you mean it needs to be altered to suit the needs of the project?"
I know your pain... -
edsdame968yOn the other hand, you'll have a better picture of what the client thinks and wants. Not necessarily a bad thing.

arekxv10528y@nblackburn Being a prototype does not mean you should expect bugs. Prototype means "this is an example of how it might look like and its not nearly as finished and this is what works now". Non technical clients/people only see bugs and problems with the app since otherwise "why did you ask them for their opinion??". When they see bugs in prototype apps they mostly think this: "If prototype has bugs like these, then what will happen to real deal??"
You should always expect those kind of anwsers and just use them as a feedback and not try to defend the app by saying "oh its a prototype". -
@arekxv The people it was demoed to are technical.
I would understand otherwise and would have pitched differently.

tommy15Right now someone at Google is coding something useless for us to laugh at on April Fools.
When you show people a working prototype of what they asked for and they immediately start point out flaws.
IT'S A FUCKING PROTOTYPE, DIPSHIT!
