@scor given that JS is required for anything, text based browsers are pretty much dead.

Though I love the reading mode in Firefox, as some page layouts are utter broken garbage - so "the spirit" has lived on I guess.

Yea, quite right conclusion.
Well.. I experienced a few informative sites that still had content that went beyond "interactive". As in written plus value. Some even bypass their very own paywall for Lynx. I genuinely believe that their engineers are circumventing their abusive mgmt.
