I have a power nap after lunch. No matter what. Waking up from a nap is like getting a new extra day for free. And this time whatever was bad before the nap just doesn't seem so bad anymore.

Maybe I should also try to make a habit from this, since I never was the napping type.

Except when I'm too tired. In that case it would be impossible to get up after 30 minutes of napping.

    How long is the nap

I've never been able to take a nap on a fixed starting time to make this work in a lunch break. How did you start this habit?

I can’t. Falling asleep takes me 30 min in a good day.

@JPRBM most of the time I don't fall asleep. But I lie down for 20 minutes, close my eyes and "meditate". Sometimes I will sleep, sometimes I won't but I will relax deeply. I set up an alarm in 20 minutes that's it. The goal is to take some time for yourself. Sometimes I will stand up after a few minutes and grab dessert, or make me a cup of coffee. Sometimes I'll go outside and drink water and sit under the sun, or lay down in the couch to listen music, It's more about chilling than about sleeping. The only rule is, do not check your phone, not even for social media. This time it's for you and you alone.

There's something about labeling it as napping that makes it guilt free if you don't end up sleeping. Like I ended up making coffee and sitting outside for 20 minutes, nvm it was nap time anyways.
