No cap, last time I worked in an office I ended up agreeing with my boss to start work anytime before 11am and leave 8 hours after arrival and all meetings involving me were scheduled in that timeframe or organized 24h in advance. Apparently this ended up improving productivity because meetings got rarer and the actually important ones were all held at times when people were fully awake rather than 9am.

i start at 8:30 (and am the first in office).
because a) i wake up early anyway
and b) i prefer to have some time in the afternoon with actual sunlight.
also c) that early, noone annoys me. -
lankku4473yI start working at 7.00. So I got about 2h uninterrupted time before everyone else starts working and I get to leave before people start asking questions/scheduling last minute meetings past 15.00. Just win all around (for me).
