Congrats!!! Be curious, ask questions, volunteer to do assignments, communicate well. These are the things I look for when mentoring an intern. Good luck!

Remember that your first solution to a problem might not be the most practical one. Try to define the same problem in multiple ways and google how people solve it.
Try not to be the noob that, in charge of solving the river-crossing problem, thought of a catapult and never bothered learning about bridges.

Nah, catapults are fine. And most bridges are pretty boring while most catapults are not.

But use the right catapult for the right job. While the trusty Trebuchet looks like the superior tool in all cases, an Onager could get you a significant boost when style also matters.
