Can I be appreciated in the code community if I dislike Linux ? Asking for a friend :^)

Welcome to devrant! Can please you a explain a bit more, what made you dislike it, what aspect of this magnificent creation you hate?

well how can you (they) dislike linux if they(you) actually used it at all?
Its wonderfull, gives me something to live for lol

Present some arguments. Just saying you dislike it is absolutely void and will get you nowhere. And I'm pretty sure the community doesn't give a damn. Being ignorant is usually ignored.

Yeah, he has an opinion just like all this Windows haters, but it's just that, am opinion :)

@w0ble We're both in first year of a software engineering school and he can't s t a n d the way Ubuntu/linux systems in general looks ! He doesn't like using shell either and always tries to develop everything on windows, I told him that he'll never be respected as a true OG if he doesn't put some respeck on Linux's name, and that's how my devRant account was born :D

@djbrl well then, he hates UNITY not Linux :-)

(I agree with him that unity is the worst thing ever, but he can't say that Linux or ubuntu sucks because unity is a desktop environment)

Of course he'd be appreciated, as long as he doesn't speak or rant and stays hidden, jk, I believe there are a lot of windows lover here, I take @thmnmlst is one of them, but Linux is not the ui, is the kernel, you could hate Ubuntu and love Linux, but anyway, if he hates using the terminal/shell/command line, then he has serious trouble. Still appreciate his presence
