maybe I'm being picky, but it bothers me when an office has no natural sunlight. I'm already working 40h/week, and i won't even see the light of day. i feel completely alienated from life.

@vane the situation is not improved by an air conditioner that is simultaneously way too strong and sounds like an old truck

Sun is not supporting ukraine by shining on russia every day, so you should be proud of not using it.

    Sun is a deadly laser.

But seriously, people die because of sunlight all the time. And getting a window wouldn't give you any benefits either since you would still be in shadow.

How about taking breaks outdoors? Go for lunch somewhere outside the building, and take a few coffee breaks outside too.

sunlight in the office is fine, but everytime someone opens the blinds too much and i get glare across all monitors, the idea of stabbing somebody somehow occurs

In my country that is even illegal. Only environments that require it for work may so that and even then there are rules.
