Hey man, how's working with Django? I wanted to start doing web development but didn't know where to start and python seemed like a good path.

It's pretty cool, I've been working through a tutorial on YouTube by thenewboston which does a good job of covering the basics, and there's tons of documentation around.

If you're starting web development from scratch though, I'd recommend getting to grips with html and CSS first.

@lb13 The official tutorial on the primary django site is the best to work through first (in my opinion). A lot of the youtube videos are based on older versions of django; that's not necessarily bad, but if you're starting new, I'd stick with the latest version, vs. learning differences as you go. (Similar to python 2 vs. 3 - unless you have a specific reason to support or work with an older version, you're better served learning the new version.) Anyway, just some thoughts.
