Sentry is one of few SaaS products that's actually worth the money, honestly the only reason to ditch Sentry would be if a better alternative pops up.

Decentralized logging means exponential cost.

- security weakened, shared access is necessary

- developer needs to login / analyze / aggregate output, a tedious and time consuming process, especially when it needs to be done manually

- cost for education / training, most devs are not familiar with efficient log parsing

- risks are high - even a non root user can cause severe damage on a system, especially when dealing with huge files - OOM / page cache poisoning | nuking etc
