Oh my God. It's my last night in Italy and I can't wait for it to end - I'm sleeping in Naples.

I only had to walk 80m from my car to my bnb, but I was so afraid for my dear life I think I have some poopoo in my pantalones.

If I don't survive this night, these of you who know where my backups are, please, continue and finish my work.

What a horrible way to end a vacation.

There's a hole in the world like a great black pit....

Sweeney's song fits the bill perfectly

And it was only a vacation, think about all those who live (and try to work 😢) in Italy

@rov3rand0m that's the exact thought I fell asleep with y-day. I feel very sorry for those people :/ and the traffic.., oh boy, the traffic... Red light means jack here, lines are non-existant, signs are hidden behind branches, beeping all the time, all over the place, scooters everywhere! I nearly side-swiped one.

After this traffic I stayed in the fight-flight mode for at least an hour.

Homeless peeps sleeping in streets and squares and everywhere. Young and healthy-looking ones too. Smell of cheap chinese plastic toys on every corner, sometimes overwhelmed by the stinch of something wet or urine. Trash literally everywhere. I had to sweep a pile of it away from my car in order to leave my parking spot.

When I returned the car I asked the clerk if it's always this crazy here. He said yes, and one has to be born here in order to survive.

I've seen shit. I thought it's only in movies and in some areas of the ststes, but EU apparently has similar gems as well.

The rest of the Campagnia region was heavenly beautiful tho. The traffic in the narrow mountains' roads is smth you get used to in a day or 2. And the views are gorgeous. And tge people -- the most warm-hearted I have ever met!

If you're ever travelling in Campagnia, get out of Naples asap. Into the true beauty of this country

Luckily I live far from there and in countryside.

I know Naples and I have the same feelings… I’ve been there with a school trip when the trash problem was at his peak…

But in Campania there are a lot of beautiful places indeed!
