David2305958y@Artemix Thanks for your response. But, what about earning more money or getting more famous ? It doesn't matter to you ?

JTBringe6098yI don't necessarily need to work for a big company, but I would like to work for a company that has a solid foundation and stable finances.
Small to medium sounds fine. Wouldn't mind working for a big company as long as they encourage their employees to continue learning.
I'm getting laid off because my current workplace couldn't handle it when a really large client left (30% annual revenue), and our project managers are not able to sell websites at a profitable rate.
The end result is that our web department got shut down (we were only two developers in the whole company, the rest are PMs and designers, 12 in total).
I therefore value stability above all else. -
David2305958y@JTBringe I agree with you, however I'm an always learning developer. In my opinion, startup is a great deal

olback109818yAs a 16yo high school student my biggest dream atm is to start my own business. Don't really know why, might be because my is self employed and earns a decent amount of money. Starting your own business gives you a lot of opportunities. You can do almost whatever you want.
Edit: I would have nothing against working at DigitalOcean, seems like a nice place. -
As a 14yo middle school student, and have no idea what I'm doing, I want to create a mobile device company like Google or Apple. My goal is to make my own operating system by the end of this year, and I have already made a few apps, but one definite thing I'd want my company to do is to be the first company to make websites optimized for smartwatches.

I like big companies. The problems are usually bigger and more complex. Your resources are limitless. It's kind of awesome.
