I think devRant should add an Ask A Dev section, since I always feel intimidated using stack and I can't be the only one...

Imagine you ask a question and get 10 rants back ;-)

Slight concern then that we're competing with SO. This is primarily a mobile platform so the usability of asking about specific coding problems is a little clunky. I do think though, that being able to ask questions about frameworks or tech is a good shout! Just not sure about including code in posts.

I think if packaged correctly there is an opportunity for devRant to provide value you suggested.

I get beat up and told I'm wrong on stack if I post a solution. Like the epoch conversion thing. I do it every day for Apple device logs. Someone ripped in to me because it was 12 hours off. I then had to tell him that I operate in Zulu time only so he will have to adjust for his own time zone. It wasn't hard to figure out when I found out the asshat was in New Zealand. SO is kind of brutal sometimes.

Stack used to be incredible, now you're shamed by the people answering your question for using it. I still use it regardless and really don't care what kind of negativity they throw at me "ughh, I think this question has already been asked, downvote, LEL."
