Y tf am I getting medium and hard leetcode questions for internships and entry level jobs at small and relatively unknown companies

    They need to make sure you have the skills for their CRUD APIs.

    medium is fine, you should be able to explain approach even if you can't code it, hard seems like an overkill, they're usually time consuming.

    @theabbie agreed, unless the company really expects to be pushing the borders of computing any interview question should be more pragmatic.

    Our code test is deliberately not using the latest tech since our platform is mot and while we had a few applicants question it and even decline, better they do that before they start, for them and for us, that that they start and then become disappointed and leave.

    And the code test is very much basic things we do expect any serious applicant to be able to do as long as they have some basic knowledge and ability to work on their own.

    And we actually do mot even care if the code compiles ;). Just that they provide some that we then can ask questions about in the second interview. We only give them it after they passed the first interview.
