Protect the watch, but it looks horrible.

TypeScript can look like plain JavaScript and still get more done.

@kamen generics barely work though. You didn't construct the object with its constructor? Sorry mate: type guard doesn't apply. At which point you have the any type and some kinda god-awful fudge with object keys or smthing, and are back at JS
