Anti-rant: really weird when the person who was starting to piss you off expends really subtle effort to ensure you have the space you need to do your job properly

In truth so long as he isn't up to something bad the natural reaction to courtesy helps foster harmony if the other person is receptive and appreciative

Trying to remember what job I was working when I wrote this rant

@AvatarOfKaine I complained that the last story ended up with a bunch of extra crap being requested at PR which was largely trivial in terms of real world outcomes and meant the story ended up involving fixing large sections of old code that wasn't speced for; code that got in the way of the holy grail perfect code. He spent the story pointing meeting pushing for stuff he knew I'd work on to be higher points in case that happened again... It's not my favoured solution but it still feels positive. Personally I'd like to see someone who can say "it's ok to have 4 lines of code in a controller instead of one for now if it saves two days work" but meh maybe perfect code is possible and product owners can learn to wait 😉

See also never worked somewhere that used the gay version of agile terminology either

    That was added
You know if you people were fucking patient John boy here could live and work happily and lucratively through his whole life and you people could just steal his memories and content after he dies of a heart attack at age 90 being blown by a 20 year old in his hot tub in his penthouse

Nope instead here we are alllllll over again

And their stories probably cover up being stuffed with penis or selling their children to fat greasy business people where as John's were innocent
