sariel85312yI had terrible experiences with flex when it was originally "supported" by the big three.
Honestly, that's about the same time I pretty much went 90% backend. Not by choice, but it certainly didn't make me too sad.
Now I really only use Vue as a front end framework. -
bioDan61592yWhat component are you talking about, and can you contribute the fixes to those components? They are usually open source.
-
@bioDan "you can fix it because it's open source" is such a cop out. Just because I have access to fix your shit code doesn't mean I'm responsible to do so, you should write good code in the first place or not spew it into the internet at all.
Plus it's often twice as fast to just write something on my own from scratch depending on how broken your shit is -
bioDan61592y@AlgoRythm i get your point, but i will only learn if other more competent people are in my team.
If i contribute something to the world which you find useful but dislike the code/method, you should step up and contribute or continue to complain in the internet about what other people write on the internet like we're supposed to do here :) -
You know, I think it's because deep down programmers aren't paid enough to give a shit.
20 years ago they might have given a shit, but the pay hasn't moved since then so they don't care.
Juniors also don't care because they can't buy a home even with their six figures.
We are slowly mutating into "India's best programmers": we get paid like shit, we produce shit code. Like domino's shrinking the pizza instead of increasing the price during inflation. Same shit.
I've been talking with engineers who are contemplating a brain numbing job filling boxes at an Amazon wearhouse for God's sake.

you fucking idiots
why do you always base your library components on some dumbass clown fixed width / height system?
everything should be flex by default, anything else is absolute amateur clown town pile of dumbass horseshit...
...i'll brawl and take down anyone who says otherwise
you waste my time, you waste other's time, when everyone has to go hunting around for your stupid library's unorthodox way of styling
thanks again for wasting and making my evening a living hell
