Don't you just love it when a department buys a software for the company without consulting IT and Data Management departments? You know to discuss integration, flexibility, compatibility and all that?

Don't you love it even more when the users of this new software then complain about the different tools that have to learn and the workflow being completely scattered?

But hey, they work in administration, so I'm sure they know what they are doing. ⚡⚡⚡

They always do things like these, where I work they even like to do the opposite of it or dev teams ask them too, like "please only buy computers with windows 8.1 pro because of *reasons* " they go and buy only with windows 8.1 *not pro* (forgot the name if there is one at all...)

A software selection and implementation checklist would be useful. Otherwise, it could get bad and costly.

@Jumpshot44 Checklists. The holy grail of management. If only they were never outdated or incomplete.
