Actually no, I would still select Javascript for this since 1. I have brain damage and 2. Lisp developers are harder to come about.
I get that just changing a file from homebase and blasting it into space can be extremely productive, but I would gather than M-x JWST-Edit from emacs would also be productive in a language with way less warts than JS. AND finally that C++ can become extremely hard to parse since not everyone has the discipline to write proper C++ code.
C++ code in the wild by shit programmers sucks just as much as shit JS and shit PHP, and I have paid my dues with those. Bad Lisp code is fucking hard to find. -
@yehaaw First, because they are scared of the ultimate power wielded by C developers.
I also thing that they are holding to the idea of code being interpreted rather than compiled. I dunno, but C would be one of my choices too.
