j0n4s53102y@JS96 me. I had a curved monitor when it was cool and new and so on. But never got warm with it. It always didn't feel right and to have this "curved feeling" you would need to sit right before it.
Now i have two flat 4k monitors both in an angle to each other, not flat flat. And kind of have the "pros" of a curved monitor but when I look at only one monitor it's just flat and not a skatepark experience.
It's the same why books are flat, why phones are flat, why our earth is flat (/s), it just feels right and is easier to look at. -
j0n4s53102y@JS96 hopefully the next time i need it it is up. It's like every 2-3 months but when I needed it it always was down :( But no pressure. It's a cool feature that should have been implement in devRant.

Grumm18112yI have a curved 27" monitor.
It is a nice screen, but already looking for a new setup.
The plan is to go with a 42" oled TV (LG 42c2). So no curved (it is not really a plus or min to have it)
Maybe I will keep the 27" one as a secondary vertical screen.

I recently got into an argument with a random person on internet about the new Corsair XENEON FLEX OLED, the new fancy one that you can make curved or flat…
In my opinion it doesn't make any sense, curved is better, in particular with a 45" display, so it's a cool technology but useless in this case.
Apparently this guy thinks "for work is better flat, for gaming curved".
It made me thinking… really?
There is someone out there (and maybe here) that uses huge flat monitors or when have 2 puts them parallels to each other and not turned towards himself at an angle?
It seemed a random bullshit, but maybe I could find some valid arguments why "flat is better for work" or not. 🤔
