No, I like the air pods and the portrait mode of it.
And that's the thing that's good for. -
Same prob here but i think it actually neads that space in order to run smoothly i mean it is got to be a reason why xD
I don t know lol -
What phone are using? it does not make a lot of sense, if you are using something recent.

olback109798y@magicMirror Galaxy S4. Kind of a old phone, i know. But all android phones I've had have had the same issues.

1)clear your cache regularly
2)root your mobile
3)google how to make the phone install apps directly to the SD card
4)???
5)profit! -
From lollipop or marshmallow they added the option to add your external storage to system

I just had one tablet Which have 10 GB of internal memory and I can install app Upton 10 GB so I never faced this condition but 1 GB ram creates problems @eeeddr

Yeah, it had 8GB so I never actually needed much more space.
I'd never buy a phone with less than 8gb ROM -
luc-1848yRooting it is the solution to a lot of things. For me, I'd have had to buy a new one a long time ago but due to proper process management (I can tweak it now) my 5 year old battery still lasts a day of quite heavy use and apps run quick enough. Clearing caches or temporarily moving data directories around is another advantage.
People usually bring up that it has security issues and yes, it circumvents the permissions system, but it's the same on your computer and you get a prompt when a new app requests root so only allowed apps can use the root functions. I've rooted mine (and this was my first Android) in the first week and can't imagine living without. It doesn't void warranty either since you're not touching the hardware and so it can't cause manufacturing defects (which is what warranty covers). -
+olback May be your phone is a bit old my friend.
It's the way Android works , in order to function properly it needs some minimum amount of space . And if this condition is satisfied then you can install new apps dear friend. It's l
just like you've already eaten enough and somebody forces you to eat more .. Don't worry, get a new phone with min 16GB space then you are good to go..Peace 😊 ☮️ -
Pointer32498yIf you can, get a new Android phone, one with at least Android 6, since Marshmallow, you can use the SD as internal storage by default and it works like a charm
My actual phone it's a Motorola X Play -
@apex I still use the original Moto X from 2013 as my daily driver it it works perfectly. If he has had this happen on multiple phones then upgrading won't help, its user error.

Android, please fuck off. I cant install/update apps because i don't have enough space. So 1gb of free memory is not enough for a 10mb app?
This is my 3rd android phone, and I've had the same issues on all of them.
Probably getting a iPhone 7. Sad, i know :(
