Haha so this just happened;
Father in law came to me asking 'hey you as an IT guy, why does my Spotify app stops after x minutes every time'?

I say to him 'dnno never had the issue on Android, but you have a Microsoft phone, right?'

So he says; 'why are you asking? Isn't my Windows phone good enough for you? Ok already I'll try searching for an answer myself then on Google'.

So I go 'k k hold on I'll Google it for you'.

*ROFLMAO

    As the user of a Windows phone, this is indeed accurate. Especially when Messenger mysteriously stopped working o.O

    Just so you know, that Spotify app wasn't Universal. New UWP Spotify app is coming to Windows this summer.

    It not been discontinued but is in maintenance mode. It's full of bugs though so i would recommend changing phone or swapping his music service to Grove or Deezer.

    @ygtgngr also, I'm fairly sure a UWP app isn't on its way. The recent announcement for Spotify on the windows store is more likely to be a project centenial app that will only work on desktop as it derives from the Win32 app.

    @Telescuffle i guess it would be win32 but it would be nice if they made a UWP app. They can cover XB1 WP and Windows, windows ARM, 2 major platforms and 2 minor ones. Also in my really limited experience UWP is a lot cleaner than w32. But that would require a major rewrite.

    Is your windows phone not good enough for me? Maybe, but it's definitely not good enough for Spotify

    @GhostFish Haha damn, missed that opportunity!

    @flag0 it would be great. But Spotify won't go out there way. Imo, even if they made a UWP, i have a feeling it would only support desktop and XB1. Would be amazed if they even bothered with mobile.
