You need to learn to deal with anger by having an outlet. Such as exercise or sports. Also realize that you choose to be angry. You can learn to deal with things more calmly. You also need to learn when someone is trying to tell you something. Part of the duty of a teacher is to guide future generations to not shoot themselves in the foot socially. I have no idea what you were wearing, and I have no idea if the feedback was justified. Some teachers are motivated politically beyond reason.
What kind of clothes are we talking about? Was there a personal presentation issue? Not tucked in shirt? Did they not like what was on your shirt? -

Everyone deals differently. Some accumulate it through the day and then let it all out in a gym, beating kids and wives, playing violent video games. Others - let it out on the spot by arguing. Others - write complaints and sue each others
I like to analyze stuff. Try and understand why did it make me feel this way. Why did I anger someone. Was it a terrible day for that person? Sometimes I even come back and very deliberately apologise for making that person angry [not for doing wtv pissed him of, e.G. Wearing my shirt], and explain how it made me feel and that I don't believe I deserve to be yelled at. And that I think it's unprofessional and unfair to do so. People tend to get startled and lose their tongue while looking strawberry-red. That's one hell of a satisfaction for me :) -
jsxcharmer12yI feel anger at work occasionally. Contractors doing crappy work. People being lazy, careless, disengaged. I sometimes struggle with seeming “passionate” on calls. It’s a matter of striking a balance. Funnel that anger towards your work. Create order where there is chaos.
Also, mediation really helped me a lot. Download the Calm app or something similar. You’ll come a long away. If you’re in college, I’ll assume you’re still young and will learn to control your emotions. It’s probably one of the hardest skills to learn in your road to becoming a professional.

I'm in college. Will it be useful in life later if I learn to swallow my anger? or Do I need to develop some mindset so I can't be affected by whatever anybody says to me or insults me.
One of my teachers scolded me in the examination hall because he didn't like my clothes. There were no rules regarding uniforms. I was not wearing revealing or torn clothes, just normal clothes.
I hate it when such things happen. It disturbs me. Even when the whole event is over, the whole thing plays in my mind again and again, sometimes for days.
