I too bought a dell( i7559) recently and holy smokes, the difference was huge. My last laptop had shit ram, shit processor and a good for nothing battery. My productivity hit through the roof when i changed the laptop.

I bought DELL Inspiron 15-3567, i7-7500U
and before it I had Toshiba Satellite L-650-111

my old pc had 4gb of RAM and an i3 CPU (which wasn't that bad), but my battery died like few years back and could only hold for like 5 min tops without a charger. But it was an old laptop (7.5 yrs)
But luckily this one has even with a 4 cell battery has a long life (almost 5hrs of work on linux) :)
