Drilled holes and put some new bolts in my laptop to fix the hinge. Kind of looks odd but I like it😂

@lumy be careful xD I popped off the whole back and drilled from the back to the front (screen open laptop on it's side) this way I was drilling from the original hinge holes outwards

@lumy 2nd comment they are 2.5mm bolts, 20mm long (with locknuts). They fit perfectly, but 1 of them is a little bit long interfering with the back cover so I trimmed one of the bolts by a couple mm to make it fit better (though if you can find 15mm long bolts, I think that would be a perfect fit)

@Letmecode Ye I looked for flat headed bolts + they will actually never touch the screen as they don't reach the actual panel, only the plastic border part which is good

@busuu try to get the EVE V. Much cheaper than a shitbook pro. Maybe you can now buy a seat from a backer. Normal Sales are after june 2017. Got mine for 1400$ with Intel i7, 16 GB Ram and 512 GB SSD. Also its got a better display 😉

Only problem is that you will need a usb dongle for WLAN. It has no driver for OSX

I had problem with top and replaced whole top with new hinges but still base is fucked up little.

@lazysnail you replaced the whole top piece? Cause on my hp that includes all internal parts

Only that top fiber with new hinges.
