Because battery life is only one factor for people deciding what phone to buy. Some have no issue charging theirs every day (or twice if necessary) when they get other features.
-
@thepra Some people buy a certain company's phone (not naming it, but we all know who it is) just because it's cool and because everyone else has it.

h4xx3r16968yI never got used to low battery smartphones, that's something that come from the old days of simple phones, features poor, but the battery will last really much.
I just can't see those fancy features that other users want, because I've always been able to achieve most features on android through software @CrankyOldDev -
atheist99858yTbh as long as my phone lasts a solid day+night without charge I don't care, it gets plugged in each night.

@thepra These same people have the aforementioned company's laptop as well, when all they do is literally type papers for their classes on it. Something a laptop for less than half the price could do with ease. Im just sitting here like

@thepra But what you seem to be saying is "I see things a certain way and can do things therefore why can't other people?" Put that way, you can understand why - we're all very different.

tizo5648y@jhh2450 I find that more people I know and meet have an Android device than have an iPhone. Just my observations obviously. I have an iPhone.

I had a pretty low phone budget, so I bought the best one I could get. It has most of the features from the phones from twice my bushes, but only a couple of drawbacks - a battery of 1700mAh being one. Man it's a real problem when 10 minutes of Facebook drains 10% of your battery. But you can manage with it if you're battery conscious all the time, which, is a side effect of my OCD.
I'll never buy a low battery capacity phone again, but I had a pretty good reason for this one. -
lorki973408y@jhh2450 ah well of course. Sony. Those bastards. Hate them. Shitty phones.

I don't get why nowadays people still buy smartphones with battery capacity between 2500mAh and 3500mAh meanwhile there are cheap enough smartphones with fricking 5000mAh(or more)!
Typing from 3 day averagely lasting smartphone, with my use.
