Whoever said that "The IT Crowd" is a good TV Series...

WTF?
It's so... lame.... Are all the British comedies like that?

Are you kidding me?! It's exactly the kind of British humour you want: Dry and Witty!

Just like Monty Python or most of the older radio Shows on BBC4

I watched a couple clips and half were good, half were lame.

Probably not something I would watch anyway.

Red Dwarf, start from the beginning. Really good sci fi comedy.
  • 4
have you seen the American pilot? Stop taking decent shows and making them American/awful. Did you learn nothing from Red Dwarf??
  • 5
well... you DO need to have a sense of humour of at least level 3.

I started watching it and really couldn't get into it, then I watched silicon valley and I loved that
  • 3
@alexbrooklyn yeah, Silicon Valley is far funnier to me too.

The IT Crowd reminds me of FRIENDS, which is incomparably better than this one.

@netikras Friends is shit to begin with.

    If you want to compare:

    https://youtube.com/watch/...

You won't have context to the story. That is why I say start at the beginning. But this is a pretty funny skit.

A lot of the times the episodes are a large build up to a joke later in the episode.

You crazy, I love that show

@theKarlisK i'd say mr bean is a poor example for british humour. and rowan atkinson was way better in blackadder.

Some of y'all didn't work in IT in the 90/2000s and it shows.

The IT Crowd is a fucking masterpiece.

2 or 3 episodes aren't enough to judge this show or any other show

It is not as great and as spot on as Silicon Valley but it is a damn good show. Lots of funny and weird moments. Only thing is it is outdated for the current era

    Very specific humour I'd say.

Some still say that "The Office" is a masterpiece as another example.

I tried watching the office and I hated it... I cannot understand how anyone could find that funny, unless they're hooked up on some decent pain meds with alot of the good stuff.

If the "internet" episode doesn't make you laugh, then you need to adjust your humor settings.
  • 1
Do you call football as “soccer” and like the American version of Monty python more than the British one?

Oh come on, the IT crowd is a good tv show hehe
  • 0
    @IntrusionCM american or british version?

If you're on the fence about the show you need to watch Season 2, Episode 1: The Work Outing.

If you don't laugh at that episode then you have something wrong inside and you need to go to the hospital...but don't dial the usual 999 number for that. Remember to dial 0118 999 881 999 119 725.......

@tosensei Some of Mr. Bean is funny, some is so bad. I really liked his painting the room skit.

    @netikras
Not all British shows are rubbish.
'Plebs' for instance, might help you out.
'Peaky Blinders'? Black Mirror, Travel Man, The Gentlemen, and l'est not forget : Dave Chapelle !
