Why is there internet explorer in windows???

The only reason visual studio requires internet explorer 10 is to make you download internet explorer...

Or.. it uses msie JavaScript engine by default for MVC applications

@dfox, ok.. i think i should elaborate a bit.. i was using devrant in another device. And i changed my device today. When i tried to post from the new device with the same account, i was asked to confirm my account. I thought this is some kind of new authorisation feature and i confirmed my email. Now my profile has no rants, upvotes or anything. All has been reset 😥.

Potential bug ? Wondering why this happened 🤔

@Prometheus are you sure it wasn't a different account login? This would definitely be a bug, but I've never heard of this happening and they seem like 2 different accounts.

@dfox, i have only 1 account. So i am pretty sure about this.

Does devrant maintain rant history per profile in db? It would be easy to cross verify.

@Prometheus we have no local storage and everything is stored in the cloud. So literally only auth tokens and a couple of settings are store on the device itself.

I'm not by a computer, so I unfortunately can't do any digging. The only other case I can think of is instead of logging out you deleted your account somehow. I can look later though.

@dfox, the last device was factory reset and my profile's basic info still persists so i doubt its got deleted. Anyway i feel like i am reincarnated. 😜 This motivates me to post more.
