    Contracts, my friend. Signed, verified, structured contracts. Total PITA, yes, but worth it when these kind of situations arise.

    I have a clause in my contract that specifies 3 rounds of revisions within a certain time frame. It's the Best cause in the whole thing.

    public void featureCreep()
    {

    While(clientHasFeatures)
    {
    clientAsksForFeatures();
    developerAddsFeatures();
    }

    developerGetsPaid();
    }

    Sorry I read that and thought to do some refactoring lol (feel a little dirty for using spaces but ya know, no tabs on my phone lol)

    Okay so my spaces got removed oh well :/

    @samarthagarwal I'm sorry, I can't. I don't use them myself because I only do small jobs for friends I know and trust. But I learned the lesson the hard way too. Stopped working with a client because he a) didn't know what he wanted so wouldn't ever agree a scope and b) refused to acknowledge or pay for the work I had done along the way. But freelancing is side income for me, so I decided I didn't need that shit.

    I only do contract jobs. Pays very well and never have issues like that. It's simple. I work an hour, theu pay me an hour. I work a year they pay me a year.

    @CodeMasterAlex in New Zealand, they pay extremely well, but the only issue I have is my lack of experience. Would love to do this because for say a 3 month contract that'd pay you a standard rate equivalent to years work, which would be awesome just work three months and with proper budgeting be able to work on what ever side project for the next few months and rinse and repeat
