Why do I have to google how to start a new nodejs project every time?

    I'll tell you exactly why. Because the whole concept of having to bootstrap a *new* project with a dozen files is idiotic so there has to be a command for it, and the command has to make no sense, because it's not really following any good command line principle in the first place

    Because nodejs is retadded

    because nodejs was made when it was crapped out of satans hairy, hemorrhoid-ridden, infected asshole after eating moldy chili and month-old rotten oysters.

    I dunno what are you talking about; Node.js is not that difficult after you understand it properly once

    @hinst difficult != obscure.

    You can make a command contain one hundred digits of Pi without making it difficult to use. But if that digits aren't mentioned in the man page, people who don't memorize that command somehow would still need to google it every time they need it.
