Am I the only one that watches many YouTube videos on 1.25 or 1.5x because I can't stand how fucking slow they make it all just to be able to trick the algo or fit more ads or whatever?.

For YouTube mobile, YouTube Vanced.

For browsers (use Firefox if on Android), AdBlock plus / uBlock origin, ideally with AAKlist added for good measure.

The only perk of a live stream is live discussion. If it's a class there's probably no discussion at all or, at best, a short Q&A at the end. In that case I'd recommend to just record it and watch later x2. Life's too short to wait for slow talking people.
