Don't worry, nobody will ever find your app. I once uploaded a proof of concept app and it doesn't even show up in the search results if you search for the exact name

I once created a prayer app that just had a picture of the sky as the background and a text box and send prayer button. Only thing it did was just clear the text box when you press the send prayer button lol. It got a few downloads.

Yeah Google play's search algo is not nearly 100% based on exact search name. And why did you have to uninstall?

This could actually be not a bad app. Just add an auto-generate button and an algorithm that matches verbs, adjectives, and nouns like gifycat URLs. Searching through a list is tedious.

No one is going to want to rate your app high if you ask them before they have even used it once. Also you are probably better off without the cat question.

To make the ad more seamless, you could have when the user hits auto-generate, it says "generating... 5, 4, 3, 2, 1" and on that page play the ad. Of course the algo will have been done long before that, but it makes it a little less in your face than a popup.

Either way, congrats on publishing an app :) even though there may be millions of other apps, you are part of a very small percentage of the population who has ever published one.
