    With this much context, I can't help but think that they aren't mutually exclusive.

    TypeScript is fine; although it might be better off without the majority of its "type math" part

    @hinst My brain goes to lala land every time I see ternary operator with "defer" and alike. Ugh. 🤯

    As a rule of thumb: if we do something so much complicated, there is non-zero chance of dead cause.

    i'd say typescript is just terrible. (that's what the "t" stands for... did you think it's for "typed"?)
