Worst: Getting fired for talking too much shit about how the higher ups don’t know how to run a company.
Best: Getting hired at a way less stressful job that pays 50% more and realizing the last place was toxic as fuck.

    Or you grabbed them by their ears and literally spewed into them?

    Gossip mill...

    Rumors, conspiration, insultations - but most importantly instigation.

    I hate gossip mills.

    @IntrusionCM I’d imagine someone is talking shit about you wether you like it or not

    @phat-lasagna Yeah.... But office gossip mills (especially in larger firms) are - though that might sound paranoid - definitely not the regular shit.

    As manager, I know that some people utilize gossip mills in the office for warfare. Always not fun when you have to deal with psycho thrillers as someone just wants another person gone.

    Suddenly someone is a pedophile, banged the chefs partner, beats their partner etc....

    I hate gossip mills.

    @IntrusionCM yeah those people should not make it past interviews. People should be allowed to make complaints about how the company is disfunctional without fearing for their job though right? Managers typically only see stuff from their point of view so it’s biased.

    @phat-lasagna of course.

    In my opinion critic and transparency would make companies not only more efficient, but fair.

    But most likely your critic was blown out of proportion by the gossip mill....

    I've had ""cases"" where "I'm unhappy with the sprint" became "The team is trash" as one example...of course when you confront everyone by asking how / whom the rumor started, everyone was innocent. XD

    Sorry should have explained that before

    @IntrusionCM yeah that makes sense

    @phat-lasagna did they say least verify your thoughts and complaints or was it. We heard some shit and we want you to leave. It's it's the latter, enough said.

    Congrats on the new job.
