Being able to learn the basics of many languages so that I can do things the fastest way.
Because the Dutch national railway uses fucking XML for their api

    It's probably an older API. A few years ago XML was in use. I don't know what language/framework you use, but I'm pretty sure there is XML↔ JSON library available.

    @Eariel it was recently updated lucky someone made a gateway api that converts to Json, but I sadly found it after learning Ruby to parse the XML

    @mrtnrdl I was lazy and it was a pain to do it in python

    @Jop- the things is was trying to follow needed modules and they Dutch railway do the go normal they put a statement in one of the tag names making it very very annoying
