Do u successfully install it?
If so ->
1) press that restart button (if it not work -> just hard reboot ur pc)
2) simply unplug usb before it boot to usb drive
(maybe ur boot device priorities in bios is usb) -
Is it efi or mbr?
Are u install ubuntu on the same hdd or seperate?
R u sure u install grub?
Are u disable secure boot? -
Try to install os prober and re generate grub cfg.
(Or just simply try to re install ubuntu ) -

Well im just following the documentation from ubuntu.com.
Yeah maybe i should do it the way without usb -
Arhhh so what it did was to run os manager at ghr first time, even before i install linux. So, how do i open bios before restarting&&after installing ubuntu? The restart duration after installing is really superrr short -.-

shaji12487yIf you have a uefi bios you need to select the efi grub entry through the bios. On Dell systems press F12 during startup

It finally worked! Thanks fellows for helping me out. What worked for me is typing bcdedit...ed in windows terminal

juzles38587y@vxwilson91 really, dont go to arch as a newcomer.
Stick with ubuntu for now. You'll know if you want to switch and to what distro if you like and learn linux.

So it began with i finally decided to change to linux ubuntu.
An error screen pops up if i remove the usb now. But if i didnt and press restart, the install screen reappears again prompting me to either try ubuntu, or install.
What am i doing wrong then? Thanks a lott.
