It's a new feature from W10, now it's an amazing OS that it needs showcase lights!

On a rather more serious note, did you sit on your laptop? Did it fall from your desk or something? It seems like the light distributing panel (idk how it's really called) moved and that's why you can see the LEDs that give you the backlight

@apex yeah I do recall it falling down though this interesting effect popped up rather suddenly
