If it has a reminder, a jury will assume it to be a reminder to take meds. Wording doesn't really matter that much as the target audience aren't lawyers but consumers.
But they should be fine regardless as software liability is almost nonexistent anyways... -
neriald14522y@Oktokolo I expect you to be right, but USA is a weird place so I’m not entirely sure.

I wouldn't trust any company with that kind of data.
I would be for digitalization of patient files - if it would be a fully encrypted communication "implemented correctly".
But absolute no no to any kind of reminders, journals or other stuff.
That knowledge should be only for the patient and the doctor, no one else. -
kiki353252y@IntrusionCM it's cool and all, and I'm a huge advocate for privacy myself, but without an interactive app I wouldn't have been able to establish a proper medication schedule. Compared to greedy VC startups, I trust apple a bit more
I have no choice, I have to use an app. It is important for my meds to be logged precisely for my future doctors to analyse. The logging should work no matter my mood and cognitive ability at a given moment. It has to be very simple.
Apple added medicine logging feature.
Do you know how they tell you you should take your medicine? It’s “It’s time to log in your medications”. It’s not “take your meds now”. Otherwise, imagine those lawsuits, ooga booga iphone told me to take meds and I died.
