Apparently I, the Intern, am the only developer at this company with any experience with Version Control. My Boss just asked me for 'Documentation on how to create a Repository in GitHub'...

"There's a big button that says 'Create Repository'. CLICK IT."

You should teach them to do it only from command line. It'll make you look like a boss

Anyway, who needs these ... Version control systems? You can just add version numbers to your filenames!

    There you go. You're welcome.

Better use your time to work on the code!

Testing and versioning only takes time away we need to build features.

Same here! Totally changed the way they develop at the company where I'm currently an intern. Looks great on the report I'm sending to my school though. 😂

@champion01 A quick glance at my username tells you (and all those downvoters): Nope.

    Just your favourite PM talking.

Some people will ask you for documentation on anything and are lost if they don't have a bullet-list describing every aspect of their job

The current company I'm with just uses version numbers, backups and FTP... it's a nightmare!

@champion01 I feel like Command Line Git is the only way to go for a company that doesn't know how to get files.
