Closing down almost all applications to squeeze out that little bit of extra memory for the IDE

The nostalgic feeling you get when you find an old PC running Windows XP, and you start going through the accessories and games start menu folders, always have to start up the good old MS Paint :3

@dfox Roughly how long would it take for devRant stickers to arrive in Australia from when I ask for them? I'm moving house very soon and don't want to somehow miss them!

Thinking about taking part in a two colour game jam on the weekend, I'm thinking some kind of retro space adventure game.
(I'm not the best pixel artist, but I'm pretty happy with how this mock-up looks)

Buying a mechanical keyboard was probably one of the best decisions I ever made!

One of the coolest projects I've worked on recently was this little adventure game I made for a game jam a while back, It was made from scratch with Golang and C over two days. It also features procedural level generation (that technically should allow the user to walk in one direction for at least 7 decades).

You see that little (but annoyingly bright) blue light on the back of my wifi card, well it flashes whenever the network is being used... And it's driving me bloody crazy.

To anyone looking at wifi cards, if the back if your setup is visible, I'd recommend against getting an ASUS card...

Computers and their peripherals are constantly advancing, but keyboards... keyboards never change, We pretty much just stole the idea from typewriters and moved on.
