Arrived at a game jam in an animation school. I hope they're better at game design than they are at cable management :)

Once i met a cool guy on a gamejam, we figured out that we both prefer tabs, yay, but then i saw it... He uses Light Themes in his ide =( ok but we can b friends

Missed the opportunity to participate in a company wide gamejam cause I don't read my business emails 😢

but then I found out that anyone who doesn't participate gets those days off, which coincidentally fall on Thursday and Friday, and the Monday after that is a national holiday 😁

I came first in a 48 hour 4x person gamejam with a game idea in 6 hours with 3x people.

Some info: I had an idea as soon as the topic went live, told the team this is the idea (button masher), we are going to do it in unity (at the time I was working at a studio that used UE4.x), and I'll also make a custom controller using an old keyboard to make it more fun. Ended up coming first place and won a nice bottle of champagne each, and at no point did we over stretch. Nice clean project with a good night's sleep in-between. The team was me (dev), an artist and a technical designer.

That was my first start to finish use of unity and C#, and now I exclusively use unity and make games for Xbox One and Steam.

Entered a demake game jam and can't decide whether to demake DOOM (2016) or Skyrim...

Hmmm, choices and choices, anyone else have suggestions?

Thinking about taking part in a two colour game jam on the weekend, I'm thinking some kind of retro space adventure game.
(I'm not the best pixel artist, but I'm pretty happy with how this mock-up looks)

So had a plan to do a gamejam this week seeing I had nothing planned after work but nooooooooooooooo of course everything I could ever need to do decides it needs to be done this week -.-

what do you all think about a game jam but instead of having 24hrs+ you only get 5 hours? I've been wondering how this would be seen and whether this a good idea, so I came here to see your thoughts

Me and my coworkers are going to have a weekend "gamejam"/hackathon starting tonight but we can't think of any good challenges to try and code - can you guys come up with something we can try and tackle in a weekend?
