And now this guy is in charge, and so far during his time more than a decade, Russian economy has then recovered from the fall of communism to a market economy and they are going to attribute that success to this guy and they are going to be nationalistic as fuck when a foreign power tries to attack him.

The reason I disagree with communism as a social order for a large country is because labour output, production, human capital, resources, etc are all under one system. As you can imagine, this is a chaotic system with many variables mixed in, and many desires, different needs mixed in.

Equate it to a chaotic system, for example like a double pendulum, you'd think initially if you set the right initial conditions, you can predict what the outcome will be at a certain timeframe. But reality is, it is very hard to control, a slightest preturbance will set the course of the system wildly out of its desired path.

Same for communism as a system. For small communistic society you have the same effect, but the damages are localized as opposed to nationwide horrors. And this is repeated observed and manifested in societies or countries that adopted such policy.

@bigmonsterlover if we're all going down devil's asshole, it better be jassole's assole. But I agree about the last bit, Yes we are all "evil". Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts. Checks and balances are important. Only reason I am not "evil" is because I don't have total power, so I need to play nice while I am climbing to the top. Hey if everyone is evil, I might still compete and have that mojo, be the better of all the evils rather be depressed and suicidal lmao!!!

Now the balance are coming of loose but I'd hunch any action has equal and opposite reaction, so you'll get a wild swing to the other side, even authoritarian/nationalistic at times. :D

And certainly brought up interesting debate about late stage capitalism. The problem I do see is that the government is heavily involved in economics, education, lobbying which I think the government should never touch. When, one who should uphold property rights get involved, there is big incentivisation of corruption.

And on top foreign policy is total out of whack, almost seems like it's sold to the highest bidder. Well those are questions, that don't tend to have a purists solution and often swing in either direction wildly.

I don't entirely disagree with what you have said though. Certainly debates to be had.
